Tuesday
Bread roll(小パン)
Milk(牛乳)
Tofu stew(とうふの煮)
Fried spring roll(あげ春巻き)
Korean seasoned vegetables(ナムル)
Today I was at an elementary school on the other side of the city. This side of the city has a different kyuushoku centre than the rest of my schools. The two centres usually have about the same menu but a little bit different. The quality is pretty much the same. So today I don’t have a picture of the menu. I couldn’t find one in the staff room.
Today was a pretty good meal, although the bread was a bit unnecessary. The Japanese love their carbs. The Korean salad thing is basically boiled vegetables (bean sprouts, carrots, spinach etc) that is marinated in some sort of broth, sesame oil and garlic is put in there somehow. It’s called “namul”.
Also, today’s tofu stew had no quail eggs in it. Thank you lunch ladies.
