Japan loves its curry. You can get curry on top of rice, curry in little rolls, curry flavoured chips, curry seasoned fries and once I even had curry ice cream. Someone decided a while ago to add some curry to udon noodles and voilà, curry udon. I generally like Japanese curry so I have no complaints with the food. The only thing is that the bread served in today’s lunch is really unnecessary. I don’t think I’ll ever understand Japan’s insistence to make sure bread or rice is at every meal.

I really like the almond dressing that the lunch ladies make. It’s so much better than their petrified fish smoky trash salad they try to make us eat.

The raisin cream mysteriousness was a little package of rasin flavoured margarine spread like stuff. The lunch ladies do this every now and then to add some flavour to the bread. Sometimes they give us jam, peanut butter or something else creamy. Once they just gave us a package of margarine. I saw one of the teachers just suck it out of the package. Classy.
