Chinese chives with potatoes(ニラじゃが)
Vegetable soup(さわ煮わん)
Homemade salmon sprinkles(手作りのサケふりかけ)

As appetizing as “salmon sprinkles” doesn’t sound, they were pretty good. “Furikake” translates to some sort of sprinkley thing, but it’s more of a topping for rice. Furikake is usually dried seaweed and spices. The one today was flaked salmon and some spices. The colour was really pink, but you can’t really tell by this terribly cell phone picture.

The soup was a typical non-miso soup.

The potato thing was pretty interesting. It was pretty much just sautéed scalloped potatoes with the chives and some sort of ground meat.
