The lunch ladies ordered a different bread roll or something magical from the bakery today. The round roll was pretty good. Of course this made the teachers a bit crazy in their exclamations of “it’s a different kind of bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Japanese bakeries are pretty creative with their bready things; there’s nothing to be excited about here.

According to Japan, spaghetti Neapolitan is just spaghetti mixed with ketchup. I’d have to consult with someone from Naples, but I feel this isn’t the correct recipe. But oh well, it works. I enjoy it.

The corn and tuna salad was just that: corn, tuna and salad. The salad being cabbage and cucumbers.

Maybe it’s because the jellies are normally frozen, but today’s apple jelly was different. First of all, it came in a package that looked a lot like a super-sized single size margarine packet. Today’s jelly tasted like solidified apple sauce.
