The rice was this strange mixture of sushi rice and black soybeans. It was pretty good; I’m just not sure where the inspiration came from. Sushi rice tastes like the faint aftertaste of vinegar and the black beans are kind of sweet..kind of not. It worked.

The tuna creation is one of my kyuushoku faves. I’d like to try and recreate this at home, but knowing me I’d fail miserably and the neighbours would have to call the fire department. I think I’ve cooked fish without burning it just once. And it tasted terrible.

Yet another day of smoky trash salad. Today’s smoky trash included both spinach AND cabbage. Luckily today it seemed that the vegetables overpowered the trash aroma to make a less offensive dish. I say less offensive as in dirt is less offensive to eat than rancid sewage. This is still not a compliment.

The soup was ok, but it’s just about the plainest soup possible. Zero points for creativity ladies.
