Kyuushoku for 25 June

Friday

Chinese rice bowl(中華どんぶり)
Milk(牛乳)
Fried pot sticker(揚げぎょうざ)
Thin rice noodle salad(はるさめサラダ)

884 Kcal
32.9 g of protein

I failed at taking a picture of the food today. My excuse is that I was whisked away to eat lunch with the 6th graders today. They usually don’t really talk to me, but just stare and talk amongst themselves. I guess they enjoy having an “international lunch” more than actually talking.

The Chinese rice bowl wasn’t bad. It would have been ten times better if I didn’t have to dodge those tiny spheres of nastiness, quail eggs. I thought the tea lady would say something to me since she always tries to embarrass me about not eating those things, but she didn’t say anything. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about anyway. Those things are awful.

The fried gyoza was good, but it’s hard to fry something and it not turn out well.

This thin rice noodle salad isn’t bad, but it’s just not that good. The dressing has enough vinegar to make you wonder if that is vinegar, but not enough vinegar to have a decent taste.
